Fishery VGF rice has been distributed among the fishermen of Lord Hardinge’s Union under Lalmohan Upazila with the slogan ‘Mother Hilsa is saved, Hilsa matches every year’. At 9 am on Wednesday, 40 kg of fish VGF rice was distributed among the jails of different wards of Lord Hardinge’s Union.
The rice was distributed in the presence of Lokman Hossain, branch manager and tag officer of Palli Sanchay Bank, vice-president of Lalmohan Upazila Awami League, Lord Hardinge Union Parishad Chairman Alhaj Abul Kashem Mia. Also present were Union Parishad Secretary, UP members and others.
In his speech, Chairman Alhaj Abul Kashem Mia said, “Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has made arrangements for distribution of fish VGF rice among the fishermen and smiled at the fishermen. Dear Leader Alhaj Nurunbi Chowdhury Shaon MP has always been serving the people of his constituency with happiness and sorrow. All of you will sincerely pray for Mr. MP.
